London Youth Games

All our junior volleyball players are considered for the London Youth Games representing either Richmond or Kingston teams.

Key criteria for selection is that players will need to live or go to school in the Boroughs of Richmond or Kingston.

The represented categories for London Youth Games are:
•U17 Boys, and
•U17 Girls

Squad trials are usually held from March to early May. The preliminary rounds of the London Youth Games begin in early June and the main games / finals are usually in early July.

The London Youth Games has developed some great competitors such as Linford Christie, John Regis, Steve Beckley, Ashley Cole, Ledley King and Anne Keothavong. The London Youth Games started in 1978, and comprises over 21,000 young Londoners competing in 30 different sports.
