Richmond Summer League
The Richmond Volleyball Summer League started in summer 2006. Aimed at being open, flexible and friendly,
the league provides a fantastic opportunity for people of
different ages, gender and sporting ability to participate in volleyball and play lots of matches.
In 2009 over 100 players have registered.
Vast green fields of the Old Deer Park, quiet summer evenings with a golden sunset
(Check the forecast),
good quality equipment and a crowd of people who seriously enjoy playing volleyball - that
's what made this competition
a success.

Fee reductions apply for late registrations in July.
Key features:
• Just turn up and play (no need to enter a team)
• Organisers will create teams (maybe mixed)
• Fair play and sportsmanship are of key importance
• League points awarded on individual basis not per team.
• Match duration - 3 sets (you can play one or two matches per evening)
• Up to 6 nets provided per evening
• Party and awards presentation on the last night
• Weekly league standings update on the web
• If play is cancelled due to bad weather, all registered players will be contacted via email and/or mobile text.
