Richmond Summer League
The Richmond Volleyball Summer League is aimed at being open, flexible and friendly.
The league started in summer 2006 and provides a fantastic opportunity for people of
different ages, gender and sporting ability to participate in volleyball and play lots of matches. In 2009 over 100 players registered.
Vast green fields of the Old Deer Park, quiet summer evenings with a golden sunset

good quality equipment and a crowd of people who seriously enjoy playing volleyball - that
's what made this competition
a success.

Key features:
• Just turn up and play (no need to enter a team)
• Organisers will create teams of 2-4 players (maybe mixed)
• League points awarded on individual basis (not per team).
• Match duration - 3 sets (you can play one or two matches per evening)
• Up to 4 nets provided per evening
• Prizes to the top 3 players
• Fair play and sportsmanship are of key importance
• Weekly league update directly to your mailbox
• If play is cancelled due to bad weather all registered players will be contacted via email and/or mobile text.
