South London Sitting Volleyball Festivals 2009/10
The South London Volleyball League is pleased to present an all inclusive community-level sitting volleyball programme for 2009/2010 season.
As part of the Mayor’s Plan ‘A Sporting Future for London’, Play Sport London aims to provide free sporting opportunities to Londoners.
The Winter 2010 2 weeks Sitting Volleyball programme will be held at Richmond College
and will consisted of fun structured coaching sessions and tournaments.
As always everyone is welcome. Don't be shy - just turn up and bring a friend!

Overview
Sitting volleyball is similar to the standing game. The rules and skills are the same but it is played on a smaller court with a low net and sitting down. Players move around the court on their bottoms, they are only allowed to use their hands to move themselves around the court and their bottoms must not leave the ground.
