2010 Rising Stars
London's International Junior Club Volleyball Tournament
In association with Kingston College, Richmond Volleyball brings “Rising Stars” an International Youth Four-Day Volleyball Tournament, which brings together talented young
male and female volleyball players from all over Europe to London, Kingston upon Thames.
This coming 2010 Summer will include six top international junior boys and girls club teams from Italy, Russia and Holland which will take on the very best young players from England in what promises to be the most exciting 2010 Youth Volleyball Tournament in the United Kingdom.
Volleyball is played professionally (men and women) in all these countries and many of these players will progress and compete in the top division of CEV U18 Junior European Volleyball Championship Finals.
The programme will also allow travelling teams the opportunity to visit London and soak up some culture at some of London's world-class attractions such as
London Eye, Tower of London, Houses of Parliament,
Buckingham Palace,
Trafalgar Square,
British Museum,
Natural History Museum and
Hampton Court Palace.
