Scholarships

Richmond Volleyball has forged links with St Mary’s to offer scholarships to students who demonstrate sporting excellence and provide a sufficient training environment. Click here to view St Mary's teams.

Students will be expected to maintain their high levels of achievement and to contribute to the ethos and mission of St Mary’s as well as acting as an ambassador for sport. To be awarded a volleyball scholarship the key criteria is as follows:

•Applicants will need to be of junior international standard or equivalent.
•Applicants should demonstrate their potential to perform at the highest levels by providing evidence of their ongoing development and plans for the future.
•Applicants should be dedicated to their chosen sport and their training and provide evidence to this effect, e.g. their references.
•Sporting scholars must be prepared to represent the College in accordance with the demands and scheduling as agreed with the Director of Sport.

To be awarded a volleyball scholarship you must be registered in the centralised payment system and will need to complete the higher education funding application form from your LEA (or DfES if you are an EU student).
