Seniors' and Juniors' Coach
Qualification(s): FIVB Level 1 & EVA Level 3 (Theory)
Vera started playing in Russia at 13 and after a year was selected for the Moscow Dinamo Junior team where
she was coached by Olympic medalist M.Katusheva. By 17 she got her Junior Coach and Referee qualifications.
At 19 Vera joined the first team in the Moscow State University Volleyball Club. She achieved the Grade 1 volleyball
player qualification, the highest possible at this level. Then she became a captain of a MSU team in the second division and assisted
coaching her team.
After moving to England Vera played at the NVL level with Guildford International and Thames Valley and was a
captain of Egham NVL team in 2001. Since 1998 Vera runs sessions in Whitton Sports Centre open to all ages and abilities and has been
coaching Whitton men’s (till 2004 when they got promotion to Premier division) and women’s teams in LVA league.
